  • In most cases, no. You can book an assessment directly with Dryland Physiotherapy & Performance without seeing a doctor first. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a referral before they will reimburse your treatment. We recommend checking your individual policy before your visit. Also, persons suffering with an acute or undiagnosed medical condition should be cleared for therapy by their Physician before booking an appointment.

  • The length of your appointment will depend on the service you book and the complexity of your condition. Your initial assessment generally requires more time so Tyler can understand your concerns, complete a thorough examination and create your treatment plan. Follow-up appointments focus on treatment, as well as progression of your rehabilitation program.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and gives Tyler access to the area being assessed. Shorts are helpful for hip, knee, ankle or lower-back concerns, while a sleeveless or loose-fitting top can help with neck and shoulder assessments. Bring any relevant medical information, imaging reports, insurance details and a list of medications. Avoid applying perfumes or colognes prior to visiting the clinic.
